• 44 years of combined Public Safety Emergency Services, both in fire and law enforcement.  32 years in the fire service, 18+ years of which in a sworn law enforcement capacity as a State of California POST certified, Supervisory, law enforcement Bureau Chief.

• 12 additional years working in a law enforcement capacity for City, County, and Federal governmental law enforcement agencies, for a combined total of 30 years in law enforcement.

• Experience across municipal, county, and state-level law enforcement and criminal justice.

• Background in criminal investigations, evidence collection, interviews, case development, and investigative reporting.

• Experience collaborating with prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, and legal professionals.

EXPERIENCE

• Over 1,900 criminal investigations to date, to include cases involving Arson, Home and Auto Insurance Fraud, Theft, Burglary, Homicide, Suicide, Domestic Violence, Drug and Alcohol related criminal activity.

• 18 years experience as a Member of the State of California Arson Investigation Unit, "AIU".   

• Testified as an expert criminal investigator in eight California Counties.

• 7 years’ experience as senior investigator for Stokes & Associates Investigative Consultants, administering Special Investigations, Internal Affairs Investigations, POST L.E. Background Investigations.

• 10 plus years investigative experience assisting  the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and the Hoopa, Karuk and Yurok tribal reservations located in Northern California

• Montana Licensed Private Investigator since 2020.
